Der neonatale Diabetes mellitus mit angeborener Hypothyreose ist eine autosomal rezessive Erkrankung die durch Mutationen des Transkriptionsfaktors GLIS3 hervorgerufen wird. Neben der angeborenen Hypothyreose und dem bereits in den ersten Monaten einsetzenden Diabetes werden weitere Entwicklungsstörungen beobachtet.
